Great news. I've played through the fan-translated version of Investigations 2 before, but I'd certainly like to own a more official version of the game.
It's a dumb requirement. It's annoying when other gaming companies also mandate account logins for single player games, and the same is true here with Sony.
I've been playing some Dark Souls 1. I'm dying quite a lot in it, but making progress. Also, I'm wanting to make a start on Hitman: Blood Money, and perhaps also find something more lighthearted to play as well.
I'm still on PS4. The majority of the big PS5 games that excited me have also came to PS4 or PC. That's starting to change now. Fewer games are coming to PS4 these days, and my ageing PC will struggle to run the latest big games.
But at this point, I'm tempted to hold off, and see what the PS6 brings to the table. Graphics are generally a fairly low priority for me, instead it's the exclusives that affect whether I buy a console.
I had a blast with G-Police on PC many years ago. It's got a kind of Blade Runner vibe to it, and involves being a fighter pilot in these sci-fi space dome cities.
I've no idea how the game holds up today, or whether the PC and PS1 versions had any notable differences.
That poll is wild. Whilst Lara Croft is iconic, I don't see her being as iconic as the likes of Mario or Pikachu. And I do love myself some Hitman, but there's no way Agent 47 is the third most iconic video game character ever.
The Sims could make for a decent horror movie. There could be one scene where a sim is swimming, only to find out that the ladder to climb out has disappeared.
That explanation doesn't sound too convincing. Atlus makes great games, but they have shoddy DLC practices. I'm actually interested in playing The Answer, but I don't want to buy Persona 3 Reload unless it gets heavily discounted.
I'm curious to see if they can turn it around. It had a huge amount of hype at one point, but then people seemed to lose interest with it shutting down.
Crazy Taxi does seem like the kind of thing that's better suited to being a fun AA game instead of a huge budget AAA game, so that statement fills me with some apprehension. Of course, referring to it as AAA might just be some mindless marketing fluff, so I'm not too worried at this stage.
Mostly playing the Tomb Raider Remastered trilogy. I'm also playing through The Crew before the servers get shut down at the end of March. The Crew is similar to Need For Speed, but with the feel of a generic overworld Ubisoft game. I wouldn't recommend it.
There's definitely some Xbox games that I'd like to play, but I'm not feeling positive about these rumours. Competition is my biggest concern, but it's also going to suck for those that bought into the Xbox ecosystem for particular exclusives. There's going to be more than a few people feeling like they've wasted their money.
I was getting some knock-off Nier vibes from the trailer, but that might be being too harsh on this game. The actual gameplay looks fun, so I'm hoping that Stellar Blade's story will stand up on its own.
I was going to skip this title for now. The biggest reason is that I've only played the male protag route, so I was wanting to do the female protag route next time around in P3P. If they add some dlc for that or for the extra FES storyline, then I might reconsider.
Sega makes some great games, but their DLC practices are rather unpleasant, particularly with this and Persona. It certainly makes me less eager to buy their games.
I've still got some Like A Dragon games to play thorough before this title, so I'll wait until it's heavily discounted before considering getting it.
If they had 5 different weapons to choose from, 5 armour sets, and 4 extra abilities to choose from, that would be a hundred different combinations right there. Bragging about "hundreds" of different build permutations isn't a very impressive boast.
The games are great fun. I put in a lot of hours into World and Iceborne when they came out, and similarly with Rise and Sunbreak as well. Though I'm in no hurry to get back to Monster Hunter just yet, I am looking forward to Wilds.
Most of these are absolute bangers, but I voted for Persona 2: Eternal Punishment as that music feels so epic.
If we wanted to include spin-offs, then my absolute favourite Persona opening is for Persona 5 The Animation opening 1. An in terms of games, Persona 4 Arena is my favourite Persona game opening.
Tomb Raider remasters for me. I'd like to eventually play Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, though I've still got other games in that series to play through before worrying about getting the latest one.
He should be locked away. He's hacked multiple times, and expressed desire to continue committing cyber crimes, so it's not a one-off mistake. Plus the BBC article mentions he was violent whilst in custody.
Locking him away indefinitely in a hospital until he's no longer deemed a risk (and not for life as this article's headline wrongly says) seems like the only reasonable call here.
I'm not convinced this is a good idea to have by default. On some games, I might want my character to be OP and breeze through everything. And other times, I might want to suffer from an extremely tricky challenge.
I'm playing some more Hitman: World of Assassination and some Muse Dash, which are basically my current go-to games when I'm not playing anything specific. It's probably also a good weekend for me to get started on another game.
It doesn't really seem like a contradiction. Microsoft would presumably love to have PS5 players paying for a Game Pass subscription, but I can't see Microsoft being able to achieve that any time soon.
Delaying until presumably 2024 isn't much of a surprise, as we were approaching the end of 2023 without a release date. The previous trailers have looked interesting, so I'm excited for this.
I'll give my vote to Hogwarts Legacy. I don't think it's necessarily the GOTY, but it deserved some nominations at the very least (particularly in the Best RPG category). It's also my favourite out of the very few new 2023 releases that I actually played, though I haven't yet got around to some of the other big names.
Well, that's lame. I generally dislike this sort of censorship or self-censorship or whatever it is here. Plus, the original design sure does looks better.

I'm not too excited for this one. I'll probably just have it on in the background whilst playing something else.

Re: Announced as a Switch Exclusive, Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Is Coming to PS5 After All
I did have my eyes set on this back when it released on Switch, but narrowly decided to hold off on it. This'll be a good excuse for me to pick it up.

Nice to see them returning. I'm not sure I fully buy the inadvertent excuse, but it's good that they're fixing this.

I'm mostly playing The Great Ace Attorney 2 and some Yakuza 3.
Re: Monster Hunter Wilds Reportedly 'Fully Open World', Coming Q1 2025
I thought it being split up into distinct maps always worked well for the Monster Hunter formula, so I'm a little apprehensive about these rumours.

Re: PlayStation Wrap-Up 2023 Available Now, Check Out Your Gaming Stats
I clocked in at 561 hours, having played 10 games. I obtained 269 trophies, including 3 platinums.
My most played are:

2) Nier Replicant
3) Hogwarts Legacy
4) Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise
5) Yakuza Kiwami 2
Re: Get Five Free PS5, PS4 Avatars Using This PSN Code
Kim looks great there, maybe even too great. The in-game artwork for Disco Elysium characters are a lot less flattering.
