For my personal use case, that would be fine but I can see why it wouldn't be for others.

Bummer. But it won't hold me back from playing it. But I'll surely watch it a little closer now because of that since reselling isn't an option anymore, so I may not buy it right away and wait for a sale. As of now, this is a day one for me though.

My expectations weren't super high to begin with. Yet, I was very much looking forward to it. Disappointing showing from 1st party overall. I would have expected at least one more reveal from one of the top studios.

@Daleaf if I'm not mistaken buying the bundle including all DLC is a way bigger discount than usual as opposed to buying them separately. I'd check the options available before buying because this could become very expensive

@thefourfoldroot1 Dude, I'd faint. Bring over the first one too, preferably as a Plus benefit or a free upgrade.

@BeerIsAwesome I think they revealed the remaster of the first one in their State of Play. Maybe that's why you made that connection.

My vote goes to Ratchet but this is a close second together with Death Stranding. Actually, in some ways it is more impressive than Ratchet with that ridiculous amount of foliage.

KCD is one of the best Western RPGs ever for me. Yes, I mean it. What it lacks in the technical department, it adds tenfold in others.

I'm very busy with life at the moment, so whenever I am able to sit down, I need some comfort food which is why I am currently replaying L.A. Noire which I love dearly. That 40s atmosphere just sucks me in and it's just a chill experience.

As much as I appreciate what they have done with Dreams: It's about time. Moving on should have happened already.

This might get an announcement at Summer Game Fest. They announced the Edge there, too. Or as a sidenote in the rumored showcase.

@thefourfoldroot1 The Gambit system threw me off as well. It wasn't because I didn't get it. In fact, I think it's brilliant in many ways but I simply didn't enjoy it.

@get2sammyb That's exactly it. At the end of the day, it's just another accessory with no added cost in terms of investments specifically for it. Hence, I don't get why some people get emotional over it.

Trying to buy even more time is what it probably is. I'm not sure anyone at Sony really saw (realistic) chances of blocking it. However, there comes a point when you need to break the silence on your own pipeline. I guess the whole acquisition was a major factor why they're being so silent. The rumored showcase or whatever it will be better give us some substantial first party news.

While I think that it is a little early for doom and gloom, the next PS showcase / SOP, whatever it will be, needs to address PSVR2, especially regarding first party. The announcement of a new Astro VR game or a Firesprite project might ease quite a few minds.

If it meets certain criteria, I'll be very interested since I like remote play. If it doesn't meet those, not interested at all. Wait and see it is.

If this is true, pricing will be key here for me. I actually really like remote play for some games. I've been using my phone and the Razer kishi for it but a bigger and better screen and controls would be very welcome. That said, knowing Sony, it will probably have a hefty price tag.

@get2sammyb I hope they're painfully aware of said expectations. I don't think they'll exceed them but I sure hope they will meet them.

@playstation1995 I absolutely need to replay NNK remastered some day. The graphics and music are magical.

Although I'm fairly busy this weekend, probably a bit of PSVR2. Continuing my Moss Book II playthrough and a little Saints & Sinners Ch. 1 on the side.

@GrimReaper You're saying the games right now are trash and there's nothing to be excited about. I think there are quite a few great games on there but that aside: It just launched, maybe let's just wait and see what happens in terms of announcements this year? Maybe, after all, there will be games that excite you as well.

@GrimReaper Whether games suck or not is up to individual opinions, at least to a wide extent. That said, I don't think you're getting at much with that kind of confrontation. Most users here probably don't shy away from critically discussing things but it doesn't lead anywhere when you're trying to piss people off first and foremost.

@Shepherd_Tallon I usually can't stand racing sim type of games. Haven't played one in over a decade. VR changed that, lol.

Imo, Sackboy is criminally underrated.

@AFCC Most games don't justify that mode imo as the visual differences are mostly too minor for my liking. However, Ratchet was a damn treat in that mode. If every game did it like that, I'd be a staunch defender.

"Long-time fans can be hard to please". This is true which is why the reveal trailer threw me off in very particular aspects I didn't like at all, subtle details in the character voices, their intonations etc. Graphically, it looks impressive though. That said, I am hopeful, will definitely play it and I am looking forward to it but I am extremely skeptical. The good thing is: The original will still always be there as well.

The best thing about this whole acquisition process is the dirty laundry that comes up from both of them. Other than that, there is not much to be excited about it going through imo.

I knew why I went max level, upgraded all my stuff to max and didn't start NG+. Perfect to jump into the DLC. Then again, I can't even remember whether a seperate save could have done as well, lol. Don't know anymore how the game handled it with savefiles.

@ORO_ERICIUS This is poor optimization above anything else. From Soft has a track record with this. Even people with beast PC rigs struggled to keep the framerate at 60 when it released.

The original is one of my favorite games ever. I will remain skeptical but I can't wait to try it out.

35 hours for the main mission and 70 for completionists sounds absolutely perfect for my tastes. Will be interesting to see whether those numbers are accurate though.

To me, it is obvious this was a shelved PSVR1 game and I doubt updates will significantly improve it graphics wise. That said, and this is not a popular opinion, I had a great time with it despite its subpar graphics. It was basically more Rush of Blood which is both good and bad, depending on what you're looking at specifically.

At the risk of sounding insane: I never really liked the original. There, I said it. However, I'll probably play this one at some point but I'd love to play it in VR. Has it ever been officially confirmed that the full game will release for PSVR2? At the SOP it only said PSVR2 content in development. I was assuming this pertains to a mode, like Mercenaries. Yet, I see people claiming all the time that Capcom has confirmed the full game. I'm confused about this.
