@Triumph741 BG and Larian are a perfect partnership. If you think negatively then you have obviously not paid attention to the early access reception. On NG+ of FF16 and I'd have to put it around 13th or 14th in the rankings of best FF games. It really lacks the charm of the older games.

Already beat that CoD. Played the original Alan Wake and dlc so would be good to revisit after such a long time before the sequel. Hopefully this version has the dlc too. Never heard of the third game before but doesn't interest.

@bighal they wanted a historical setting with fantasy elements. You don't realise that you're comparing black people to dragons and moogles which sounds ridiculous. It's pretty infantile to say "it has that so why not this too!" and skipping what looks to be an amazing game over that is just silly.

Also Rings of Power did not do it properly.

Diablo 2 should be in there. Probably even in the top 5. Diablo 4 will certainly deserve the spot when it's out. Monster Hunter World should be higher and MH Rise should be there. Bloodborne is not so easy to play or to get a co-op experience going so it should be much lower.

Nice to see this appeals to most people which would make this month a success. I already own the Dino game so it's not much for me.

I will say for those who have no interest in NBA/basketball in general, that these games can broadside you and turn you into an addict.

Final Fantasy had always been about changing up the battles. I don't really like the new generation chasing but FF7R had great combat so I'll give it a shot. At least with Yoshida running things it won't be an unfinished mess, so it will still be a great game even if it deviates a lot.

@NEStalgia a lot of SW projects since Disney have been written by people who don't: know/care/like the source material in a variety of ways. Those projects have never ended well.

@Rhaoulos Ubisoft don't fill games with MTs though. They put a few cosmetics in just like every JRPG that isn't Final Fantasy. Every big open world these days is based off what they made anyway. They're just better at building something on a massive scale. I would like them to change things up regarding exploration though.

@FullMetalWesker Open world does not mean massive areas. It means you are free to go where you want hence 'open'. Dark Souls is open world for instance.

How can people be confused when they can Google and find out in seconds that no they don't have to play the previous ones.

Everyone should get to play this GOAT game but I would prefer if it's built for the PS5 first. Then we go and remake Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2 at last.

The writers made so many mistakes with the TV show and it was just one season. MMOs are so lore heavy I just can't see Amazon doing it justice. I hope they understand how essential it is to get the lore right if they want to hold a large enough playerbase to turn a profit.

D3 wasnt bad. Post game was even fun buuuut this is the game people wanted D3 to be. I enjoyed the beta a lot and I think the new implementations like world bosses are good additions.

@Heavy_Artilery Shadow of Mordor/War are not garbage, they are not hated, and you're certainly in the minority if you think they are.

You can have a single player game as a service that works. Just look at Assassin's Creed. The only issue with those, if you aren't wearing your hate tinted glasses is that they can burn you out - I must have spent about 150 hours on Odyssey throughout its lifespan. A bit less on Valhalla.
